After careful assessment of the global emergency caused by the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the heightened travel advisories, Original Group has decided to temporarily suspend operations in its three properties: Temptation Cancun Resort, Desire Riviera Maya Resort and Desire Riviera Maya Pearl Resort. Desire Resorts are closed effective immediately, and Temptation Cancun Resort will close on Tuesday, March 31. All three properties will tentatively reopen April 30, as we closely monitor the evolution of this rapidly changing situation.
The health and wellbeing of our guests and staff has always been, and will continue to be, our top priority. We are also following directions from local and national sanitary authorities and encouraging both guests and staff to maintain social distancing protocols and tend to their families and loved ones.
Now more than ever we encourage you to stay close, even if virtually, to the community we have created together. We must all work together in keeping a sense of optimism to help us through these difficult times, so we encourage you to stay in touch with us and one another through our social media channels. In the upcoming weeks we will be sharing new content trying to bring a bit of our Original experiences to you at home. Please share your thoughts and comments with us as we strive to offer the best possible service under these unprecedented circumstances.
Once this is over, we look forward to hosting you again and creating new memories, as we know what makes us great is you and your continued trust. As we have said before, #ThereIsNoPartyWithoutYou.
We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe, and we look forward to partying with you soon.
